Our Backyard... a construction zone!

Well after a year of learn about the sewer line planned for our back yard (and fighting with the county)... our backyard has officially become a construction zone. The crews made their way to our backyard last week. I snapped the first picture the day before they got to our yard. The rest have been taken over the course of the last week. Mike and I are trying to look at this in a positive light... and we are hoping that the new clearing will give us better views of the creek... especially after it is restored. The creek restoration is a separate operation from the sewer line... the creek will be restored after the sewer line is complete. It is being restored as part of a wetland mitigation--basically, a large development not too far from us has to restore/replace the wetlands that it destroyed during construction.
